What better way to celebrate Diwali than an informal networking dinner bringing together the Indian business diaspora in Manchester with leading business organisations from Manchester and neighbouring areas? The event, sponsored by Deloitte UK and organised by MIDAS under the Manchester India Partnership (MIP) initiative, was a huge success.
The Manchester India Partnership, launched in 2018, was set up to develop and strengthen trade, investment, cultural and educational links between Manchester and India. The evening gave Indian businesses working to establish themselves in the UK market a unique platform to forge new connections and present themselves to the people who matter.

The event was held at the MCR Museum in Manchester. It was presided over by senior leaders from Deloitte and MIDAS, and attended by several other dignitaries.
It gave Indian entrepreneurs a tremendous opportunity to meet a wide mix of key business people from Manchester, in a lively setting that blended Indian and British cultures. As a participant in the celebrations, our Founder and CEO, Ganesan Anbazhagan, met people with shared interests and built new connections for Guires' growing presence in the UK.
It was not all business. The evening was a celebration of cultures, with a well-presented entertainment programme hosted with style, followed by a sumptuous dinner. It was a Diwali celebration to remember and cherish.
