Guires celebrated the successful completion of its 15th year of service, a milestone the whole team had eagerly awaited. Fifteen years of earning the trust of researchers, life sciences companies and partners around the world called for a celebration worthy of the people who made it possible.
Themed "Honouring Our Roots, Shaping Our Tomorrow", the event was held at Esthell Village Resort, Tirukazhukundram. Set in scenic surroundings with cycling paths, playgrounds and open green spaces, the resort offered the perfect setting. The celebration took place in the airy, spacious Emerald Banquet Hall, which comfortably welcomed the entire Guires family.
The event was graced by our Chief Guests, Founder Chairman Mr Ganesan and CEO Dr Radhika Ganesan, who began the proceedings with the traditional lighting of the lamp. A warm welcome address by one of our sales leads followed, and for the first time a professional compere guided the programme, adding polish to a memorable day.
The theme captured what the anniversary meant to us. Our roots are the values we started with: honesty in every commitment, rigour in every deliverable and genuine care for the clients and colleagues we serve. Our tomorrow is the growth, innovation and global partnerships those values make possible.
Fifteen years on, the values that built Guires, trust, integrity and a passion for our clients' success, are the same values that will shape our tomorrow.
Guiresians then took to the stage with brilliantly choreographed dance performances and soul-stirring renditions of popular songs, showcasing the talent, energy and creativity they bring to their work every day. The celebrations included the cutting of the anniversary cake and the recognition of colleagues whose dedication has helped carry Guires through fifteen remarkable years.
A gourmet buffet in the banquet hall catered to every taste. Vegetarians enjoyed traditional comfort food such as curd rice, dal and paneer, while non-vegetarians feasted on mutton biryani, pepper chicken and an assortment of breads, with desserts to round off the meal.
Later, the celebration moved outdoors and indoors for games and a lively rain dance, as colleagues from every team relaxed, laughed and made the most of the resort together.
Fifteen years ago, Guires began with a small team and a big belief. Today, with specialist units across food research, scientific publishing, statistics, research support and education, we remain guided by the same principles.
